We will be doing exclusive artist coverage of all three of our hometown gems before seeing them off to the festival season, and what better way to kick that series off than with the newly signed, Atlantic records Tally Hall.
A refreshing, almost island like composition and beach-boyseque harmony, these group of guys differentiate themselves by the color of tie and are the sure fire NEXT BIG THING. Dating back some friendships to days at Andover High School in MI, Tally Hall officially formed in 2002 while they were in residency at the university of Michigan, Ann Arbor. The group has gained nationwide attention through exposure via MTV segment You Hear It First in September 2006 and performed their single “Good Day” on the Late, Late Show With Craig Ferguson in the month prior. Their first album, Marvin’s Marvelous Mechanical Museum, was remastered and released on Atlantic records April 01, 2008 and on April 22, 2008, they are set to debut the Tally Hall Internet Show.
